Ripped with remorse

I ripped a DVD, my first, ever. I admit it. It was just so convenient. We had rented this Lost DVD and Marine wanted to watch it, but hadn’t had time to actually watch it. The DVD had to be back by eight, so… half an hour before that time I ripped it and brought it back in time. Putting the VOB-files on my drive wasn’t that hard. Converting them to AVI was another thing. That took all night and then some.

Of course, I erased all the files, burned my hard-disk and shredded it. No one can prove that I’m not actually just boasting, acting tough, as if I would actually know how to do such a thing, like I’m DVD Jon or something. Or is that illegal nowadays? I don’t know. Maybe I should turn myself in.

Speaking of DVD Jon, apparently there’s a way of downloading the stuff you bought from iTunes, without the DRM: PyMusique. Gotta look into that.
