Playing rollerbasketball again today
Another beautiful day for rollerbasketball yesterday. No spectacular injuries this time!
Everybody played pretty good, although I haven’t been up to scratch for the past month. Still, I do my bit.
I had some nice plays with Harro. Once, I passed him the ball while I was under the basket, he caught it with his back to me and passed it right back two-handed, complete no-look pass, and I scored a simple lay-up (not sure where my defender was at at that time).
Afterwards, some of us hung out at the Blue Teahouse in the Vondelpark. Steph and Thibault (Gijs’ girlfriend and little boy) joined us there. Gijs and co treated me to a nice tapas dinner. Thibault seems to be into climbing stairs nowadays. Not so much into eating.
In the evening Joost came by to play some NBA Street. It was OK, but it’s definitely more fun with four at the controls.
We’re gonna play rollerbasketball again today, there were enough people up for it and some people who couldn’t play yesterday because of Easter are up for playing today. I was going to go to the Squash City gym, but I’ll cancel that. Priorities!
